To my astonishment, even Adobe Camera RAW 4.6 in Photoshop CS3 (2007-08) properly applies the lens corrections from my RX100III ARW files after conversion to DNG. When opened in LR6 or CS6, those profiles are applied. The obvious conclusion is that during the conversion of raw to dng in Adobe Converter, built-in profiles are included in the dng file. Clicking on that message pops up the window shown below that gives more details on the corrections being applied.

Then, I noticed the message in the lens corrections panel that indicated that 'Built in Lens Profile applied'. Once converted, the dng version looked identical to the jpg in LR6 (from a perspective point of view). There were obvious perspective corrections being done on the in-camera jpg. I downloaded the OOC jpg and raw files of that photo. I concentrated on one photo from the DPR review of the RX100 VI. I reached the same conclusion before seeing his post. While I was experimenting to prove one way or the other, he posted his message. See JohnGI1's post in this thread that says converted files do contain corrections. I remember conversing with you a few weeks ago and it appeared that corrections were not being handled properly. I'll have to look for some raw files that might make it obvious if corrections are needed to see what happens during the conversion and if those corrections are being passed through to CS6 and LR6.14. I'm reluctant to say one way or another if they contain CA and lens perspective corrections. I don't have an RX100 VI, so I've only converted a few raw files downloaded from DPR. I was only replying to Den's comments that he was unable to open a converted file in CS6. I can't speak to the OP's question of support of CA and lens corrections.

In that case, the DNGs can indeed provide lens correction as long as the software knows how to use the metadata. RX100III files do carry the correction parameters, so later ones presumably do too, and maybe earlier ones. Do RX100* files carry their own lens correction metadata? However, maybe they will be applied if the correction parameters are contained in the lens metadata rather than the software. What's the situation there? But, it will open a converted file just fine. Since CS6 doesn't support CR past 9.1.1, it's impossible for CS6 to deal directly with the newer raw files. If you wanted to open the raw file you would need the latest version of Camera Raw. dng files of the RX100 VI after the raw is converted in DNG Converter 10.5. I also have CS6, with its last supported Camera Raw version of 9.1.1. It didn't work for me previously, but I'll give it another go.
